Accessibility

Standards compliance

Current  legislation requires all websites to offer a level of accessibility to people with disabilities, as part of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) 1995. The LOtC Quality Badge website follows the accessibility guidelines published by W3C at www.w3.org/TR/WCAG10/ and conforms to W3C guidelines at W3C Double-A standard.

This website has been designed so that the display options you choose in your browser or operating system will overwrite our settings. In this way you can increase the text size, change colours, or make other changes to the way our website looks. To change the text size in most web browsers, simply hold down the ‘Control’ key (sometimes labelled ‘Ctrl’), or the Command key on a Mac, and press the '+' key. Visit the BBC’s My Web My Way website to learn how to make changes to the way the Internet is displayed on your computer.
